Despite Pooler’s continued expansion, residents recognize and relish the fact that Pooler is a tight-knit community. Leaders must listen to their constituents and prioritize community over commerce. Citizens have expressed a desire for a local farmers’ market, more youth-friendly attractions, and more learning centers. Community members are also concerned about public safety with the rapid growth, calling for a 24-hour urgent care or hospital facility to meet the medical needs of the growing populace.
